Description
Description
GSC205 Spin Clean Particulate Filter
The Headline Filters GSC205 Spin Clean is a compact high-pressure particulate filter designed for analyser and sample conditioning systems where reliable removal of solid contamination is required.
Manufactured from 316L stainless steel and rated for pressures up to 100 bar, the GSC205 combines a replaceable porous stainless-steel filter disc with a cyclonic flow path to help reduce particulate loading and extend filter service life.
The angled inlet creates a spinning action within the filter chamber, encouraging heavier particulate contamination to move towards the outer wall and away from the filter disc. This makes the GSC205 particularly suitable for challenging sample streams containing contaminants such as iron sulphide and other solid particulates.
All process connections are positioned on the same side of the housing, allowing straightforward installation and easy access for maintenance.

Flow Performance
The GSC205 is designed to provide a continuous process/bypass flow while taking a filtered sample stream to the analyser.
Typical published flow performance is shown below:
| Filter Disc | Sample Flow | Bypass Flow | Differential Pressure |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 µm | 1.89 L/min | 1.95 L/min | 0.27 psid |
| 3 µm | 5.68 L/min | 5.72 L/min | 2.14 psid |
| 3 µm | 9.46 L/min | 9.51 L/min | 5.60 psid |
| 50 µm | 1.89 L/min | 1.97 L/min | 0.26 psid |
| 50 µm | 5.68 L/min | 5.75 L/min | 2.07 psid |
| 50 µm | 9.46 L/min | 9.58 L/min | 5.40 psid |
Note: Pressure drop varies with filtration grade and flow rate. Coarser filter discs generally produce a lower differential pressure.
